CHAPTER 18: The Hunger Games

1. What does Katniss do for Rue?
Katniss first, kills the boy from District 1. Then Katniss sings for Rue as her final request. She sings her 'to sleep'. Just as she finishes the lullaby, Rue's cannon fires. After she is dead, she decorates her body in flowers, to make her death unforgettable. 
 
 
2. Who sponsors a gift for her? What is it?
Haymitch sends her, a loaf of bread from District 11, Rue's home.
 
 
3. How does Katniss' attitude change after Rue's death? 
Katniss feels that after Rue died, she feels the urge to show the capitol that they don't own her, that she's more than just a piece in the Games. She also feels she has to win for Rue.
 
 
4. What rule change do the Gamemakers announce?
The rule change the Gamemakers announce is that there will be two winners, both tributes from the same district are allowed to win. That means Peeta and Katniss could both win.
